Not much has happened since my last post which was on Monday, April 7.
Because that Monday to Friday, I just went to work and the kids went to school (it was the first week of the new school year…my kids are happy that many of their friends are in the same class as them this year), then on Friday night I started to feel sick and I had a 39°C fever.
I went to the doctor for some medicine on Saturday morning because I felt even worse, but I didn’t feel better until Monday. So I stayed in bed the whole weekend.
It’s Wednesday (April 16) evening now. I am fully recovered (I’m happy to say…because I felt like a truck hit me while I was sick), but it’s just another work-week now. I won’t be going anywhere special until the weekend (although it is forecast to rain on Saturday. I’m hope it doesn’t…but either way, Sunday’s supposed to be a nice day).
I did do one thing today. On the way home from work, I stopped by the local “TSUTAYA” (DVD / CD rental store) and rented a movie.
Have you ever seen 「ザ・スナイパー」 (“The Sniper” (actually, I think the U.S. title is “The Contract”))? Is it good?
I’m gonna watch it tonight or tomorrow.

It’s been awhile since I have visited your website but I have been thinking of all of you. So sorry to hear that you were so sick last week but it’s good that it wasn’t for that long-of course, that is easy for me to say. how is the rest of your family? I hope it didn’t spread, esp. now that the girls are back to school. it is good that they are all happy to have their friends in their classes again. that is important esp. when you are young. please give them our love. I haven’t been feeling very well either. of course, with me it is my ongoing back problem. a new doctor has me on a new med that will, hopefully, help. up until now, it has made me terribly groggy-I have felt like I am in another world, but not in a good way. I decided to lower the dosage and that seems to help some. I love the photo you have on the top of this page-did you take it? it won’t be long until Dad and I are away on our vacation to the condo and then on to Texas for Mb’s graduation! we are looking forward to both. wish you could join us again, it would be nice if we could make it to Florida to the condo for an annual family reunion! the girls are growing up so fast, that just seeing them once a year would help a lot to catch us up with their lives and with everyone else, of course. anyway, we need to win a lottery so we could treat everyone to a flight every year. just one of my dreams. well, take care and keep in touch. love to all, Mom

You can well imagine how little I know about new movie releases! Hope you’re all better from your flu–5 day recovery time must mean you’re in very good shape! Best wishes to the girls for their new school year–hope they have tons of fun, as well as learning truckloads, of course. Kisses to you all.
