A company called Pop! Gourmet Popcorn from Seattle, USA has opened stores in Japan last summer.
To help promote their popcorn, they are having a give-away contest until March.
If you buy a bottle of Pepsi Special, it comes with a scratch card.
If your card says 「あたり」 (Winner), it can be mailed in for a package of free gourmet popcorn.
I tried Pop! Gourmet Popcorn. I didn’t win the Pepsi campaign…actually, I rarely drink cola at all.
One of my daughters went to the Pop! store in Tokyo and bought some popcorn. She let me try it. It’s pretty good.
Since we’ll be going to Seattle soon, I’ll try to remember to buy this gourmet popcorn. Thank you for the tip.

Is it not in Hawaii? Have you ever visited Tokyo Disneyland? There are various popcorn flavors there too.

I don’t know, even though China got in german some interesting weird (for me) food it seems like that inJapanweird fllavors just pop up all the time. In another blog I read about all kind of flavored drinks and how good (and not so good) they are 🙂
So this Pepsi flavored popcorn is pretty good? I still have hard time to imagine how it might taste like :p

Sorry…I guess my post is unclear. This popcorn isn’t “Pepsi flavored”…it’s “Chocolate / Caramel with Sea-salt flavor”.
But, you’re right. In Japan, Pepsi-cola has many unique flavors.
For example:

It’s not “Pepsi-flavored”. It’s just a joint campaign with Pepsi.
It says the flavor of the gourmet popcorn is “Chocolate / Caramel with sea-salt“.
