Today my wife and I went to Iidabashi Station in Tokyo.
From there we walked to Yasukuni Shrine to see the 銀杏 (Ginkgo trees) autumn foliage.

The Budokan can be seen from the entrance to Yasukuni Shrine entrance.

It says 「靖国神社」 (“Yasukuni Shrine”).

“TV Tokyo” was there filming.
And then we walked to the Budokan:

The world-famous 武道館 (Budokan) in Tokyo.

A beer vending machine at the Budokan.
This is interesting. I didn’t know that Yasukuni Shrine has great autumn colors. I went there earlier this year for spring hanami picnic. Looks like Yasukuni Shrine is a beautiful place to go both during spring and autumn in Tokyo.
Great autumn shots by the way! 🙂

Love this time of year in Japan. The lights on the trees at night look so pretty in those photos.

Autumn time can be wonderful when it comes to the colours the nature is giving us however it can be awful when you live in Germany ;o
Just kidding but this year it is really terrible here, just grey in grey with rain… it feels so bad that I dont even have motivation to look at the natures as this all just feels so depressing

Is it raining an unusual amount in Germany this year?
Do leaves change color there?
I grew up in Florida … the leaves on trees are green all year there.
I like the four seasons in Tokyo … each unique and each an equal 1/4 of the year long.

The leaves change color here too however it’s been so dark/ grey all time in addition to an icy wind that I don’t even want to look outside. Early autumn was very warm and now as winter is approaching it is just getting icy here.
