KISS “Monster Tour”, Japan

I saw KISS in concert yesterday!  I have seen KISS a bunch of times…but this was one of their best shows!

They changed their stage, costumes and set list!  They played a number of songs that I’ve never heard in concert before!

The setlist:

  • War Machine   (Gene’s fire breathing)
  • (Sukiyaki)
  • Heaven’s On Fire
  • Calling Dr. Love

  • Shock Me / Outta This World
  • (Tommy’s guitar solo / Eric’s drum solo & bazooka)
  • (Gene spits blood , bass solo and “flies” to rafters)
  • God Of Thunder
  • Lick It Up
  • (Paul “flies” over audience to mini-stage)
  • Love Gun
  • Rock N Roll All Night

  • I Was Made For Lovin’ You
  • Black Diamond

      Those aren’t real items, are they? KISS does have their logo on an unbelievable assortment of merchandise…so it actually wouldn’t surprise if they did sell tea towels and oven mittens!

        No, they’re not real…but I wouldn’t put it past them. I didn’t get any t-shirts. -_- all sold out!!!! Awesome show though.

        You went to tonight’s show at the Budokan?
        Is it over already?

        All of the shirts were sold-out?
        They have one more show in Japan still! What are they gonna do for tomorrow?

        Went Monday, Osaka-jo. All male shirts sold-out. Perhaps they allocate a number of shirts per show? Disappointed.

        My friends went to today’s show at the Budokan. I’ll ask them if there were shirts.

        I asked my friends and they confirmed that there were plenty of T-shirts available at the Budokan shows.

        The older I’ve got… the MORE I buy at a concert! LOL! Then I don’t know what to do with all the merch in my arms! I’m a Rock ‘N Metal nerd. :O \m/

        My friend got the tour book. I looked at it after the show … it’s great! The best tour book I’ve ever seen!

        Ironically, I normally get the tour books, but this time I didn’t!

        (edit. I went back and bought a tour book!!)
