Another typhoon

15 Oct

Another typhoon is headed for 本州 (mainland Japan).

It’s forecast to hit the 関東地方 (Tokyo area) tonight and tomorrow (Tuesday, 2013 October 15th – Wednesday, October 16th).

Here is a recent meteorological map of Japan.  The yellow areas are under a “typhoon advisory” and the orange areas are under a more serious “typhoon warning“.

Tokyo, on this map, is colored orange.

      Yeah, very strong winds!
But it’ll be past Tokyo soon.

Hopefully Fukushima will be fine when the typhoon gets up there!

      Thanks.
Yes, we have some emergency supplies. Hopefully, we won’t be needing them. This typhoon is forecast to pass Tokyo by noon tomorrow (it’s 10:30PM now.)

I’ll “tweet” as often as I can.
