I have written a number of posts about interesting people. Most of whose stories are related to Japan in some way.
Maybe you haven’t seen many of them…so I decided to put links to all of them on a new page that I titled “Who’s Who?“.
Please check them out and leave comments to let me know what you think.
The new page is here.
Been a long long long time since I visited your blog π looking at Medama oyaji, just makes me miss watching Kitaro π One of the many anime that I have listed down for my 3 month old baby girl to watch when she’s maybe 5 years old

Yes, pregnancy tends to keep me away from commenting blogs but I do keep up with yours ^_^, and now they’re showing Ge Ge Ge no Kitaro over here again ..its the same one but I enjoy watching it again. My 4 month old daughter seem to like watching cartoons even my favorites like Bleach or Fullmetal Alchemist she seems to be engrossed with it, like Mother like Daughter π

Wow! Already watching those at such a young age. In Japan, little kids usually like cartoons such as Anpanman.

Jealousy is a great album, but my favorite X-Japan album of all time will be Blue Blood. Thanks for recommending it. They are uploading X-Japan songs into the web, so I think I’m just going to listen from there. Yup, I used to be in a band back in high school. It’s an honor to be linked from your blog. My site is not so great, I don’t think it deserves to be put up there with the pros. Thank you so much.

It’s a very good idea to make a page about these people. They are awesome and inspiring people. I only know a handful of them, but know my knowledge has grown. I’m going to read more. X-Japan totally rocks, btw. Their songs really encourage me when I started learning how to play bass.

I have one of their albums (on cassette!). I’m not a huge fan.

I don’t have any of their albums either, I just learn how Heath plays his bass. I did the same with Tetsu (Laruku). They helped me play like a pro. Nowadays, I listen to Depapepe and sometime jump around to HIroshi Kitadani’s songs.

The album I have is titled “Jealousy”. It was released when the band was still called “X”…before they changed their name to “X Japan”.
It’s a good album. I recommend it, if you want one of their albums.

Great!
Are you in a band?

I have checked the page, you have mention X-Japan. I like that band, but not enough to love them. I love L’Arc~en~Ciel above all bands in the world

Yeah, it’s funny…but I didn’t make that picture. I found it on “Google Images”.

How did you first hear their music? Do they sell their CDs in your country?

I found it trough Internet and movie soundtrack (it was Ringu 0). They are quite big here. They are going to hold a Live Viewing this November 26.Lots of their fans are ready to queue for the ticket.
Their CDs are easy to find here but I always bought it from Japan because the quality is much better

I didn’t know Japanese pop music was popular in Indonesia?
What other bands are popular there?
