As I mentioned in this post, the American hard rock band KISS were scheduled to perform in concert seven nights in a six-city tour around Japan this coming April (2011).
The KISS flyer for the four dates KISS were scheduled to perform in the Tokyo area.
I say that they “were scheduled” to come to Japan because it was announced today that KISS “postponed” their tour of Japan.
The "radio schedule" from the newspaper that the postponement of the KISS tour will be explained tonight.
My friend told me that the famous hard rock / heavy metal music critic / journalist Masa Ito mentioned on his radio show that KISS are now tentatively scheduled to come to Japan this autumn (2011).
Hopefully they won’t just decide to cancel the tour altogether.

I feel bad for you and all of the other KISS fans in Tokyo (and all of Japan for that matter). Maybe KISS wants to release their new album and then hit the world touring? Who knows. It would be terrible if KISS was to cancel an Autumn tour for you guys as well… I doubt that would happen?!
Hang in there… KISS must realize how loyal and important the fans are out there in Japan! π

Yeah, I was thinking that they might be waiting for the new of their new album so that they could come here to promote it.
But then why did they schedule the tour in April in the first place?

I visited the “official” KISS website and found no info as to why they cancelled/postponed the Japan Tour for April. (?)
Visiting the KISS site is how I found out about the Rock USA 2011 concert in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. It was just my stumbling upon it… in my quest to find you a Metal answer for this tour postponement! π
