New drinks

23 Feb

Coca-Cola Japan is offering a couple new drinks now.

One is 「ファンタ もぉ~もぉ~ ホワイト」 (“Fanta Moo Moo White“)…which is a white soft-drink “with calcium”.
It went on sale all over Japan beginning yesterday.

The other new drink that Coca-Cola Japan is selling now is a ginger tea for women called 「ラブボディ」 (“Love Body“).

Also, Starbucks Coffee, Japan has recently begun their annual spring time “Sakura” campaign.
I wrote about it last year…(click here to read that post).

During Starbucks Japan‘s “Sakura” campaign, they sell pink “Sakura coffee”, pink “Sakura desserts” and pink coffee mugs with Sakura flower designs.
They also have gift cards with the Sakura design.

As I’ve mentioned on my blog before, I don’t have much of a sweet tooth….so none of these drinks appeal me (I like beer!).
How about you? Would you try these?

Do they sell Aquarius there? It’s pretty good…especially in the summer if you’re hot and dehydrated.

I guess in alphabet letters it doesn’t really matter whether it’s written as “bento” or “bentou“.

I would spell it with a final “u” because 「弁当」 is 「べんとう」 in kana.

But, then again, I don’t spell “Tokyo” as “Toukyou“… 😉

I like to try something new if it appeals to me and that Coca Cola White Moo Moo drink I dont mind giving that a try ..seeing you mentioned Calpis I might give that a shot since I can get it here, I think. Ginger Tea I like ginger tea as in the pure stuff but if its made to be fizzy I’ll might pass on that. Now why wont Starbucks over here offer something like this ?!! I know I’ll go bonkers trying those beverages ..although now they’re introducing different types of tea lattes at the moment ..

Those are Japanese stores. But only one section sells Japanese goods there?

        >Have you ever tried this

I haven’t tried these new drinks (that I mention in this post)…but I’ve drunk Calpis before.
        It’s too sweet!

Ok ok maybe i should have said more than one section 😀 my bad my bad because when I go to Jusco for instance there are probably 4 big aisles selling Japanese products and then theres a big section selling cooked meals in bento, sushi, tofu, ramen and soba ..hmmmm when you say its too sweet im not sure if id like to try that now but for the sake of curiosity i shall try.

I am extremely reluctant to try Fanta Moo Moo White. Looks like Calpis. I’ve tried Calpis, and I don’t like it.

Yes, it does look like Calpis…and it might very well taste similar—they’re both “calcium drinks”.
