盲導犬

11 Nov

Today I saw a blind woman at a train station with a 盲導犬 (seeing eye dog).
He led her safely through the crowded station and wasn’t startled when the train came rushing into the station near him. He led her into the train and to an empty seat and then he laid down and slid below the train seat out of the way.

I think 盲導犬 (seeing eye dogs) are amazing! They seem to understand how important their job is and they take it very seriously.

It reminds me of one of my favorite movies. It’s called 「盲導犬クイールの一生」 (“Quill”).

The movie 「盲導犬クイールの一生」 (“Quill”) is a true story about the life of a Labrador named “Quill” (because of a black marking on his fur that resembles a feather) who becomes a seeing-eye-dog and the people whose lives he touches.

The movie’s a tear-jerker.

I’ve only seen the movie in 日本語 (Japanese), so I’m not sure whether there are versions of it in other languages or not.
But, if you have the chance to see the movie, I recommend it.

I don’t listen to (a lot of) J-pop. But I listened to a certain amount of it. I listen to and sing specific Japanese songs now…

As for me, I’m not really a “pop music” fan. But there are some Japanese hard rock bands I listen to.

    私は「一リットルの涙」を見たとき泣いていました。アヤさんの日記を日本語で読みたかったです。どうやってそれをできますか?
Probably, I also will cry if I will watch “Quill”.

Did you watch (the Japanese true-story movie) “One Liter Of Tears” in Japanese?
      It’s a tear-jerker too!

If you want to read the book in Japanese, did you check Amazon?
      It’s here.

Can you read Japanese that well?

I watched “One Liter Of Tears” in Japanese, both movie and series. I have written of it in my comment. And I like main theme(Te wo nobaseba anata ga) and ‘Only Human’ by Susumu Ueda(from the series).
I can read Japanese so-and-so. I just don’t know all kanji and words. In kana I can read pretty well.

Do you listen to much “J-pop” (Japanese pop music)?

If you like dogs…especially 盲導犬 (seeing-eye dogs), then you should definitely watch the movie “Quill”!
When I saw it, everyone in the theater was crying.

I think 盲導犬 are amazing too. They know that they are on their duty.
I used to train dogs and some of my friends are also dog trainers in Japan / America:)

I have never watched the movie, but I definitely will do in Japan 🙂
